How we vet recipient partners
At AutoHeart, we prioritize accountability and impact. Our partners are predominantly affiliates of the Feeding America network, which adheres to high standards of transparency and efficiency. We look for organizations that meet rigorous vetting criteria, including a Charity Navigator 4-star rating, an overhead rate of less than 10%, and a program ratio exceeding 90% on their Form 990 submissions. This ensures that your donation goes directly to feeding those in need.
How proceeds flow
After towing and processing costs are deducted, approximately 70-80% of the gross proceeds from your vehicle donation are directed to partner food banks.
