Vehicles we accept in Miami

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs — running or not, clean title or complicated.

At AutoHeart, we believe that every vehicle has the potential to contribute to our community, whether it’s drivable or not. We accept nearly all types of vehicles, from cars and trucks to boats and motorcycles. Your donation not only helps us fund vital benefits-research services for Miami residents, but also provides a second chance for vehicles that may no longer be roadworthy. Whether you're cleaning out your driveway or upgrading to a newer model, we make the donation process easy and rewarding, creating a meaningful impact for your neighbors in need.

Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

These vehicles are typically donated and sold at auction, where they reach buyers looking for affordable transportation. In some cases, parts may be salvaged for resale, ensuring every bit of the vehicle is put to good use.

In Miami, you’ll find a diverse array of cars on the road, reflecting our vibrant culture and lifestyle, making this category highly popular.

Pickup Trucks
1990-present

Pickup trucks often fetch good prices at auction, especially those in decent shape. They can also be dismantled for parts or recycled, maximizing their value.

With many Miami residents relying on pickups for both work and play, these vehicles are integral to our community's economy and activities.

SUVs & Crossovers
2000-present

SUVs and crossovers are frequently sold to families or individuals looking for versatile vehicles. They may also be dismantled or recycled, depending on their condition.

The popularity of SUVs in Miami is ever-growing, as they provide plenty of space for families and beach gear alike, making them a common donation choice.

Motorcycles
2000-present

Motorcycles are often sold at auction to enthusiasts or casual riders. If they are not running, they can be sold for parts, providing value back to the community.

With our sunny weather, motorcycles are a favorite for cruising the beautiful streets of Miami, making them a valuable part of our donation program.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers can be sold at auction or may be refurbished and resold. In cases where they don't run, they can still be recycled for parts or materials.

These vehicles cater to Miamians who love road trips and adventures, especially along our stunning coastlines. They often become a means to explore the outdoors.

Boats
Any age

Boat donations often get sold at auction to maritime lovers or can be stripped for parts if they are not in working condition, helping to restore other vessels.

With our proximity to the ocean, many Miami residents have boats they may no longer use, providing a perfect opportunity for donations that help our community.

Commercial Vehicles
2000-present

Commercial vehicles can be sold to businesses in need of budget-friendly options or refurbished for resale, offering essential services for our community.

Miami's bustling economy relies on these vehicles, and donating them can provide crucial assistance to local businesses and services.

Non-running Vehicles
Any age

Even non-running vehicles can be accepted, either for parts or recycling. They may be sold to buyers interested in restoration or salvaged for materials.

Many residents in Miami have older vehicles that have outlived their use, and donating them can free up space while contributing to a good cause.

Condition guide

When it comes to donating vehicles, condition does play a role, but rest assured that AutoHeart accepts a wide range of conditions. A running vehicle is ideal, allowing for easier resale options. However, if your car has seen better days—whether it’s not running or requires significant repairs—you can still donate it. Non-running vehicles are often sold for parts or scrapped, ensuring that every donation has a purpose.

It’s important to note that vehicles with salvage titles are accepted, but we assess their condition on a case-by-case basis. A rebuilt or reconstructed title is also acceptable, provided it meets safety standards. If there’s a lienholder present, your vehicle can still qualify, but we will need to take additional steps to handle the title transfer. Lastly, missing titles may complicate the donation process, but we can evaluate your situation and guide you through the necessary steps.

Pickup considerations

AutoHeart understands that donating an immobile vehicle may pose challenges, especially in urban settings like Miami. We handle pickups for vehicles that can't be driven, whether they're parked at your apartment complex, in a marina, or tucked away on rural properties. Our team works to coordinate a convenient pickup time and location, ensuring a hassle-free experience for you. No matter where you are in the Miami area, we strive to make your vehicle donation as smooth as possible, allowing you to focus on the positive impact your contribution will make in our community.
